Beresheet Hotel Ramon Crater
This picture is of the Beresheet Hotel Ramon Crater which is in the Negev Desert in Israel. Talk about a cool room in a hot desert! I came across a picture of it in the Wall Street Journal recently and was able to track down some background on it. The Wall Street Journal occasionally has some cool pictures of interesting structures and locations all over the world.
This posh hotel overlooks the desert and Ramon Crater. It’s a contemporary stone building and is 11 minutes from Hai Ramon and 6 km from Colored Sand.
The hotel features desert views with very contemporary attributes. The modern rooms come with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, minibars, and tea / coffeemakers as well as gardens or balconies. If you’re up for a real treat, you can upgrade your room to have a private pool or a crater view.
Parking is free as well as the breakfast that is served in a chic restaurant with crater views. The hotel also has amenities that include a casual bar, a kids’ club, an exercise room, an indoor pool, and an outdoor infinity pool with desert views. The spa area has a sauna, a Hammam, a Jacuzzi, massages, and beauty treatments.
These all seem like interesting amenities for a desert resort, but it’s still pretty cool. You can actually book this hotel as well. For more details or if you’re interested in actually checking this place out for a night or two, check it out here.
This is another picture that allows my mind to roam a bit and play-out various scenarios of what it would be like to stay at this hotel for a day or two. Also, for a cool room in a hot desert. 😉
