Join Match For Free: One Man’s Match.com Review

#Join #Match #For #Free: #One #Man's #Match.com #Review | jpajourney.comLet me start by saying it has been a while since I tried this service. I’m married now, lucky me! However, when I was “playing the field” there were a couple of services that I tried, Match.com was one of them. You can .
This Match.com review is for those that may be looking to use it to find their “other half.” Some things may have changed since I used it, but again, this is only to document my experience with Match.com.

Paid Subscription

First off, you can , so I originally started with a free account. However, after a bit I decided that in order to find my “other half”, I was going to have to go “all in” and get the full experience. I went ahead and paid for a full subscription.
The experience between paid and free wasn’t that different as the paid version simply gave more functionality. The full subscription was just as buggy as the free one, which I was hoping wouldn’t be the case.
Now with the ability communicate at will, I was submitting quite a few messages, etc. Unfortunately, I really wasn’t getting any feedback whatsoever. I’m talking about a response rate of 0% from sending about 100 messages.
I should mention that I did get a rare message, etc. here and there (out of the blue) from female profiles that appeared to have professional profile pictures. After having looked at their profiles, they appeared to be along the lines of fake profiles.
Although my intuition told me that this wasn’t going to work out, I kept going anyway. After all, it seemed like there were a ton of people on Match.com. So, at least it seemed to have the numbers going for it.

The End User Experience#Join #Match #For #Free: #One #Man's #Match.com #Review | jpajourney.com

One of the first things that seemed to jump out at me right when I started using Match.com was that the whole website seemed a bit buggy. It was functional for the most part, but sometimes clicking on certain things didn’t work. In some cases, I had to go to a different page in order to get to where I wanted to go.
On another note, sometimes there were permanent alerts seemingly to get you to continuously click on a link, but then there was nothing new there. I believe this was in the chat area. This was a part of the website that was annoying.
Also, when chatting, sometimes I felt like the people on the other end were bots. Weird, but I was a bit skeptical on whether there were any humans actually using the site at this point.

The website worked, but it was quite annoying to deal with at times.

An Odd Occurrence

After a while (maybe a few months) of not really getting anything, I decided to cancel my full subscription. I still did have my free account, but I couldn’t communicate on Match.com at this point without having to upgrade again.
NOTE: You can , but in order to use any of the more in-depth features, you have to upgrade to a paid full subscription account.
As luck would have it, within an hour (I think the first one was within minutes) of me canceling my full subscription, I had two messages in my inbox. This was really odd, since nothing like that ever happened when I was a full subscriber.
Within the next hour, I had more messages in my inbox. This is when everything started to point to either a lot of interesting coincidences or something really fishy is going on.
Needless to say, I didn’t upgrade my subscription again and never touched Match.com after that.

Conclusion

appears to be a numbers game. There seems to be a lot of people on it compared to other sites, but I’m not sure if those are people or just profiles.

You can , but in order to use any of the more in-depth features, you have to upgrade to a paid full subscription account.

Maybe you’ll have better results than I did, but the above was just one man’s experience. I’ve heard plenty of success stories from others, but Match.com didn’t quite work for me. There was one site that did work for me though – I met my wife on it.
