Characters That I Love From Films

Here’s a list of characters that I love from films (not in any particular order). It will probably be updated as time goes on.

  • Mr. Darcy (Fitzwilliam Darcy)
    Played By: Matthew Macfadyen
    Film: Pride & Prejudice (2005)
  • Andy Dufresne
    Played By: Tim Robbins
    Film: The Shawshank Redemption (1994)
  • Thomas Crown
    Played By: Pierce Brosnan
Film: The Thomas Crown Affair (1999)
  • Edmond Dantes
    Played By: Jim Caviezel
Film: The Count Of Monte Cristo (2002)
  • Linus Larrabee
    Played By: Harrison Ford
    Film: Sabrina (1995)
  • Linus Larrabee
    Played By: Humphrey Bogart
Film: Sabrina (1954) (or Sabrina Fair [in U.K.])
  • Li Mu Bai
    Played By: Chow Yun-fat
Film: Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon (2000)

These characters seem to have the very keen patience to put things in place and plant the right seeds for that one day that everything will come together… And when it comes together, it almost seems magical.

  1. Wow! That last part of this write-up seems to have summed up my current situation (thought processes too?)… Although it may only be short-lived, at this point, I feel like I’m living a dream. Hmmmm… Have I become the type of person I’ve always looked up to and admired? I may currently be in a magical situation that I’ve unknowingly set up without much forethought, only the habits I’ve been employing for these last years.

    (Lightbulb moment, eureka moment…)
